Reminisce

verse 1
There was a corner lot,
a house two stories high,
And a river flowing,
North nearby.
There were mossy oaks,
and palm trees tall.
There was a big duck pond,
right inside the mall!

We used to know?

There were ten-speed bikes,
and roller skates,
We spent hours making,

We played kick-the-can,
until after dark.
We explored the creek,
winding through Boone park.

Right now we crave,
those precious memories,

Where we ate grilled cheese.
