At the southern tip of Florida…..
Where it’s sunny, warm and wild,
Are many miles of swampy grasslands,
And countless creatures within compilied.

The Ospreys and the Egrets
Fly high above the fish and snakes.
River Otters, frogs and raccoons,
Probably think…..
“What a great life this place makes!”

But if you crave adventure,
Get on an air boat to skim the blades,
Of grassy islands clumped together,
and look for the Gators in the Glades.

Enjoy that Southern heat

where toothy jaws are found….

Along the TamiAmi Trail,
The roads are lined with palm trees
And canals full of swamp cattail.
