“At the Rink”

Pull on some socks,
Slide the foot in.
Lace ’em up tight,
Before you begin.

Stand up and get steady,
Push off and let go.
Feel yourself balance,
It’s ok to go slow.

chorus
Roller Skating,
Round and round.
Music pulsating,
Hear the sound.
We’re not roller racing,
When we’re in sync.
We’re just roller skating,
At the rink.

The lights are low,
The energy is high.
You can feel the whoosh
As fast skaters pass by.

The arms take turns,
Swinging side to side.
And knees are bent,
To help the legs glide.

chorus
Roller Skating,
Round and round.
Music pulsating,
Hear the sound.
We’re not roller racing,
When we’re in sync.
We’re just roller skating,
At the rink.

Chorus
Roller Skating,
Gets us in the groove.
Music pulsating,
Helps us to move.
There’s no competition,
When we’re in sync.
We love roller skating,
at the rink.
